A SHAW THING

READY TO SPRING BACK

Hope you have all had a great Easter and are ready for your big comeback – hopefully for the final time! Wow, who would have thought we would have had a whole year of this? It’s been tough but here’s the thing guys, it has been an opportunity to improve yourself, your team, salon or business. It’s kept me going during these lockdowns to upskill and make improvements and I know that lots of you will have been doing the same. So just an opportunity to say – well done, you got through it!

One thing I have been talking to barbers and hairdressers about on the Team Talk: Live with WAHL sessions is retail opportunities. There’s too much to cover just in this column so if anyone wants to reach out to me for advice – get in touch @SimonShawWahl.

HERE’S A QUICK CHECKLIST TO GET YOU STARTED FOR RETAILING:

• Think about your product range and how this fits your brand and your customers.

• Make time to ensure you’re trained on the products.

• Give your staff training on retailing.

• Have a good marketing plan in place.

Well, here’s hoping for a great summer with restrictions easing and getting back to a somewhat normal life. Can’t wait for the footy, beer gardens and seeing everybody with a smile. I’ve missed you all!
