BARBER SESSIONS STAGE

POD 1

PETE CRANFIELD 11:30-12:15

“My preferred hair to work with is something with a bit of length, but to showcase some of my barbering skills and techniques I will be putting a modern touch on a few classic-inspired looks. I’ll just say that for now, to see what I get up to, come and find me at the Modern Barber Pods and get involved.”

BRIAN NOSA 12:30-1:15

“I plan to focus on cutting Afro hair with an old-school short haircut, showcasing various techniques and products tailored specifically for Afro hair. I aim to inspire and educate fellow barbers with this dynamic showcase that will blend traditional and modern Afro cutting methods.”

BETHAN BRENNAN 1:45-2:30

“I’ll be showcasing how to give a client a wearable, creative style that is easy to maintain and recreative daily – think editorial meets high street, cuts that work on the day-to-day but can be elevated.”

ADAM WIĘCEK 2:45-3:30

“I’ll be exploring the details that should be considered when cutting hair, including precise cutting and professional finishing.

Small details have a significant impact on the final result and can make the difference between an average and an exceptional haircut. Therefore, a crucial element of modern men’s hairstyles is proper design and the way geometry is considered.”

TRACY MANGAN 3:45-4:30

“I’m going to be demonstrating a versatile haircut that’s perfect for people with curly or coily hair. This cut will combine a clean fade on the sides and back, with enough length on top to really show off the texture.”

POD 2

KILLIAN MADDISON 10:30-11:15

“The work I tend to present on stage is usually classic barbering – I specialise in pompadour haircuts and anything classical. I’ve won two awards creating these styles, so I like to show it off as well as I can on stage.”

JAI-LI RAYNEAU 11:30-12:15

“I am a hairdresser, barber and braider. On stage I will be presenting how to do cornrow braids on a model with textured Afro hair, while discussing braiding and parting techniques which enhance the style.”

WESLEY LUIZ 12:30-1:15

“As an educator and stylist, with a flair for tapers and fades, I’ll be sharing how barbers can get the most out of their tools and styling products.”

DAN GREGORY 1:45-2:30

“I’ll be showcasing how to use face and head shape to structure a short/medium length haircut perfectly. I will utilise fundamental techniques to work with length placement, disconnection and texture.”

AARON OTTLEY 2:45-3:30

“I was taught the old school way of barbering, but over my 11 years behind the chair I have established my own style. So, on stage I will be demonstrating how to do a drop fade down to skin using simple steps, adding a creative, edgy spin on the look by shaving a line in the side.”

NIKODEM SZULC 3:45-4:30

“I started gaining experience when I was 12 years old, helping out my father at his barbershop in Poland. Fast forward to the present day, I love experimenting with hair, by trying out different cutting techniques, and making modern haircuts like mullets, crops or quiffs, especially with scissors.”
