time. was founded by three friends and former colleagues: Tommy, Dom and Cal. Discussing their new venture, Cal shares: “One of our main objectives was for time. to be somewhere for everyone in the area to come together and have a good time. We felt as though somewhere along the line, the position of barbershops as a pillar of the community had been lost, and we wanted to change that. Mi casa es su casa and all that.”
KREW BARBERS

Krew Barbers officially relocated in June 2024, after six years at its former premises. Looking ahead, owner, Rebecca explains: “Krew will have the same traditional feel I’ve always loved, but with a modern twist. I’m excited to have a separate room for my micro scalp pigmentation clinic, which is great to get under the same roof.”
GROW
WHERE: 11 TOMBLAND, NORWICH, NORFOLK
Elliot Branford recently took over a longstanding barbershop in Norwich, completely refurbishing the interior to help bring it into the modern world. Elliot said: “We wanted to bring life back to a dated looking shop that hadn’t been decorated since 1984. We have filled the shop with plants to create a chilled environment and serve locally roasted coffee.”
SCRUFFS
WHERE: 92 BRIDGE RD, LITHERLAND, LIVERPOOL
Jenny Miles specialises in sensory barbering, and designed Scruffs with this in mind. She says: “I wanted to create a bright, friendly environment that would be welcoming to both adults and children. I opted for a dinosaur feature wall for kids and some old school barber décor to appeal to adults.”
