SAM WALL

These tributes show just how much Sam Wall was admired, respected and loved by the industry

In his 32 years Sam brought talent and joy to the barbering industry. He was a creative, a real grafter and he will be remembered for his fantastic personality and spirit. MB shares our condolences with his family, friends and all affected by his passing.

Over the following pages we’ve shared some of the industry’s memories Sam. Of course this isn’t an exhaustive list of those who knew and loved Sam. In fact, we’ve included tributes from people who may not have known him to show what a far-reaching impact he had on barbering. There’s a mix of good times, memories and testaments to Sam’s character.

“Sam was and always will be part of our family here at Hidden Heights Studio. We have worked with him every day for the past four years growing together, working on endless projects, had amazing fun times together and he became a best friend and a brother to us. We will hold our memories of  Sam forever in our hearts.”  – Marie, Aimee & Team HH

“You’ll always be my brother. I will always cherish the moments we shared together. All the chats we had, times travelling together, hanging out, chatting rubbish and just messing around. I can’t get my head around this right now, but I know you’ll always be looking down on me. Will miss our FaceTimes, messages and calls. It’s been emotional, it’s been eventful, it’s been hilarious and we appreciate you Sam. You’ll never be forgotten.” – Kevin Luchman

“Sleep well my friend. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have shared the stage with you, shared a mission with the Lions Barber Collective but, most importantly, shared memories.” – Tom Chapman

“Sam was a brother. This has left such a massive hole in our hearts and in our lives. He was one of the finest barbers and humans I have known. The world lost a truly beautiful being and the industry lost a legend.” – Matty Conrad

“A real good old fashioned gentleman. Always had time for everyone. Never said a bad word about anyone and let his talent do the talking. A top bloke that will be missed in the barbering world by everyone. RIP Sam Wall.”  – Mike Taylor

“I didn’t know Sam that well but every time I saw him he was such a friendly, bubbly guy. A huge inspiration to the industry and a massive loss.”  – Jake Lansley

“I’m still in shock … he was one of the best of us. A good, good man and one that will be sorely missed. RIP Sam”  – Luke James Dolan

“A true gentleman … he will be missed.”  – Hannah McKnight

“Such tragic news I can’t believe it. Sam was always there to help and was a true creative, passionate soul.”  – Dale Hince

“I may not have known Sam as well as some. However our few interactions were always filled with energy, fun and professionalism. He left a lasting impression from my first encounter with him.”  – Sam Campagna

“Sam was and will continue to be everything the industry wanted and needed. A young person so passionate about sharing knowledge and love. He took pride in helping people become the best they could be, and was brave enough to lead the way to show others they could do the same.”  – Wez Jones

A HUGE THANK YOU TO HIDDEN HEIGHTS CREATIVE STUDIO FOR SHARING THESE IMAGES OF SAM WITH US.
